David Geltner, Vice President, nPhase
David Geltner is vice president of nPhase. Geltner is responsible for the development of nPhase’s global Services Delivery Platform that enables machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless communications, device management and applications across wide verticals. Geltner has spent years developing solutions to solve the inherent challenges of wired and wireless networking. Involved in Software Engineering for over 20 years with stops at SKK, Computer Associates, Talarian, and TIBCO software, Geltner has worked on many types of software including asset monitoring, middleware/messaging, security, and so on.
Geltner was vice president of engineering for the original nPhase prior to its acquisition by Qualcomm in 2006, and was responsible for the creation of nPhaseDSN™ (Dynamic Secure Network)—the commercial data network solution offered today. David has written several articles demystifying the building blocks of a successful Smart Services solution.
While at Computer Associates Geltner was involved in the early development of Unicenter and the manager of the Unicenter for Netware team. Other projects included Unicenter Unix Kernel development team, Unicenter High Availability, Linux skunk works team, and an original member of the CA-Examine development team.
Geltner has a B.S. in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
